It has been fairly heavily tested and seems to tolerate really terrible html. It is not necessary to do validation, it is useful for scraping websites. Given a DTD, it could probably be used to parse malformed RSS as well. It would make a dandy base for a web browser but it does not presently calculate layouts or dimensions.
